COPPICED HAZEL

Coppicing is an ancient form of woodland management which involves cutting trees back to their root bases every 7-10 years. This cycle allows light to flood the forest floor, thereby creating richly diverse habitats.In an effort to revive the practise, The Wattle Collection introduces it to a new context of domestic furniture. Showcasing the beautiful array of tones and textures the material holds within a series of refined and tactile pieces.
