COPPICED HAZEL

Coppicing is an ancient form of woodland management which involves cyclically cutting trees back to ground level. This allows light to flood the forest floor, thereby creating richly diverse habitats.
In an effort to revive the practise, Marks' introduces it to new contexts and applications; through a series of refined and tactile pieces showcasing the beautiful array of tones and textures the material holds.
