Taking Turns* is a workshop hosted by Studio Plait and the talanted craftswomen Millie Harris, which employs three different techniques - wood-turning, hand-carving and power-carving - to make a sculptural mobile.
As the name suggests, this particular workshop will be an excersie in collaborative making, with participants each 'taking turns’ to craft the pieces. At the end one mobile will be made and documented, however, it will then be disassembled for everybody to take their favourite 'element' home. 
 
*Taking Turns is part of the Studio Plait Workshop programme. No money is made from any of these initial sessions, with all costs going towards materials and overheads.

Time/ Date: Saturday 15th March, 9.30-5pm. 
 
Location: The workshop will take place in Unit 13, Platts Eyot, Hampton, TW12 2HF. The easiest way to get to us is by train (Hampton and Hampton Court stations are within walking distance), bus or by car (we have a number of free parking spaces avaliable).
