Foldable Photography Studio Tables
 

A pair of pop-up tables made in solid beech for renowned photographer Peter Fraser's studio.

The design had to be stored compactly when not in use, yet also capable of being quickly assembled - without the need for any tools - to form a large working surface. To achieve this, toggle catches have been reappropriated to form a new leg joint, which can be freely pivoted and locked in place.
The offset stretchers and a male and female profile on the table's edges, further ensure the collapsed package is as reduced as possible and that the tops can be aligned to create a smooth, snag-free surface.
